Job summary

Manus Bio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support the Augusta facility's manufacturing and engineering activities in a commercial biomanufacturing setting. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to assist with process improvement, data collection, and documentation updates, while developing technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with daily manufacturing and operations activities.
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis by documenting observations.
Participate in equipment trials, process observations, and improvement activities.
Support 5S and workplace organization throughout the facility.
Assist with data collection for continuous improvement projects.
Create visual management tools and operator reference materials.
Support projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Track project progress and deliverables; participate in project meetings.
