Qualifikationen

• Declared major in Biology, a related science field, or Education.
• At least junior standing is preferred.
• Earned a grade of 'A' in Biology lab courses is preferred.
• Student must be in good academic standing; Federal Work-Study eligibility is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist a biology professor or graduate teaching assistant with all aspects of course delivery and instruction.
• Prepare and organize laboratory materials, equipment, and supplies for laboratory activities and demonstrations.
• Support classroom presentations and instructional activities to enhance student learning.
• Proctor examinations and assist with maintaining a secure testing environment.
• Grade laboratory reports, quizzes, and other course assignments per instructor guidelines.
• Provide administrative and logistical support related to course operations as needed.
• Under supervision, independently instruct small laboratory sections for non-major students and reinforce course concepts.
• Serve as a resource for students by answering questions on laboratory procedures and course content.
