• Instructors deliver classroom, online, hybrid, and distance learning as assigned.
• Develop and revise course objectives, content descriptions, and instructional strategies to keep materials current.
• Maintain accurate student records, advise students, and support assessment and program planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in Biology, Microbiology, and related courses to diverse learners.
• Develop, revise, and maintain course policies, grading structures, and instructional materials.
• Provide for student evaluation and accurate record keeping of attendance and progress.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement both in and out of the classroom.
• Serve as academic advisor to assigned students and assist with course selection and degree planning.
• Remain current in subject developments and participate in professional development activities.
• Participate in college and program activities, committees, and long-range planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development with supervisor to improve instructional practices.
• Perform other college duties as assigned to support department goals.
• Collaborate with Arts & Sciences division colleagues to promote recruitment and retention.
• Promote a culture of belonging for all students and staff.
