Prolific is seeking Biology Experts and Life Science Professionals to join our Expert Network and help train and evaluate AI models using real scientific expertise. If successful, you’ll be invited to join Prolific as a participant and paid to train and evaluate models.

Expect to complete a short 10–15 minute test to assess skills, with researchers paying up to $60 per hour for work requiring about one hour of uninterrupted time. You can work from home with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS, MS, or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Pharmacology, or related Life Sciences.
• Experience in laboratory research, biotech, clinical trials, or academia is expected.
• Ability to interpret complex biological data, peer‑reviewed journals, and protocols with precision.
• Ability to identify issues in scientific claims and experimental designs.
• Strong understanding of the scientific method and regulatory standards.
• Clear, accurate explanation of biological pathways or cellular mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-Generated Science for factual accuracy, reasoning, and alignment with current consensus.
• Fact-check citations from public databases (PubMed, NCBI) and summarize research papers accurately.
• Assess AI-proposed experimental designs, controls, variables, and troubleshooting steps.
• Annotate scientific data and correct errors in sequences, structures, or taxonomy.
• Ensure ethical alignment of bioethics and safety in AI responses.
