Zekai is seeking senior life scientists to improve how frontier AI models reason about biology and the life sciences. This fully remote role centers on rigorous problem specifications, reference solutions, and benchmark design to advance high‑quality scientific reasoning.

You will review model outputs, craft precise criteria, and collaborate with experts to turn expert judgment into teachable standards. Location is United States, with a fully remote, contract arrangement.

Competenze

PhD in life sciences (biochemistry, molecular/cell biology, genetics, immunology, neuroscience) or closely related field.
Senior research role at a university, academic medical center, national lab, or research org.
Genuine specialization in at least one life science area (e.g., molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, genetics/genomics, neuroscience, ecology/evolution).
Strong peer‑reviewed publication record; fellowships/awards a plus.
Hands‑on use of large language models in work; ability to distinguish sound arguments from plausible but wrong ones.
Excellent written communication and the ability to give precise, well‑structured feedback.
Location: United States.
