Job summary

La Sierra University is seeking a Biology Student Laboratory Teaching Assistant (TA2) to support in-person and virtual lab sections. The TA2 will help the instructor and Laboratory Coordinator with lab preparation, operation, and direct instruction during labs.

• La Sierra University student enrolled Fall 2026 quarter.
• Must have taken BIOL111/L within last 4 years and passed with a grade of B or higher or been previous TA2 for this course in last 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructor and Laboratory Coordinator with preparation and operation of laboratory classes (in-person or virtual).
• Provide instruction during the laboratory sessions.
• Assist with grading of laboratory assignments/quizzes and other clerical work.
• Must be able to work the full duration of the lab, plus prep, meetings, and grading.
