Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in biology or applied biology or health care-related disciplines as specified by MCCCD Biology Instructional Council.
• 18 credits of graduate biology or related coursework may be required for biology education track.
• Transcript evaluation may be required for some health-related degrees.

Responsibilities

• Instruct biology classes (lectures/lab) for diverse student populations.
• Teach non-majors courses (Intro biology, anatomy & physiology) with varied instructional methods.
• Participate in divisional and campus meetings and curriculum development.
• Maintain office hours to support student learning and success.
