Job summary

Wytheville Community College is seeking a biology adjunct to teach undergraduate biology courses at various campus locations within the service region. The role supports occupational-technical and transfer education programs and supports student success and persistence through ongoing instructional delivery.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Biology or related field with 18 graduate hours in Anatomy and Physiology, and have higher education teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s of Science in Biology, or Master’s with 18 graduate hours in Human Anatomy and Physiology.
• Higher Education teaching experience

Responsibilities

• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
• May travel to any WCC location.
