Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Chesterfield, MO is hiring an Entry Biologist to support research operations worldwide. You will maintain inventory, process material requests, and ensure ISO quality compliance while assisting with lab workflows and daily shipping/receiving tasks.

This role requires an AS degree or higher, at least one year of related experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will perform data entry, assist with greenhouse and plant care, and help maintain cold storage

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of A.S. (Associate in Science) degree or higher.
• Experience: Minimum one year of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard computer software.
• Basic mechanical ability and understanding of equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inventory of research materials.
• Process material requests efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with established ISO quality standards.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including shipping/receiving and workspace maintenance.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Conduct data entry tasks with precision.
• Process materials in the lab, adhering to established protocols.
• Handle material cooler storage and maintain cold storage rooms.
• Perform greenhouse and plant care activities.
