Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Marine Biology, or Applied Biological Sciences.
• Knowledge of Endangered Species Act guidelines.
• Knowledge of ESA Section 7 and related environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Navy personnel with natural resources matters at NAVFAC MAR sites.
• Conduct environmental inspections and monitoring for EIAMD site activities.
• Prepare draft PWS, SOW, and CE documents.
• Review natural resources documents related to the EIAMD program.
• Monitor threatened, endangered, and protected species at JRM installations.
• Support administrative tasks: records retention, filing, minutes, and updates.
• Track EIAMD requirements with installation and regional personnel.
• Coordinate with the COR to meet EIAMD natural resources schedules.
• Review design plans to ensure natural resources considerations are captured.
• Maintain the EIAMD Biological Opinion tracker; update accuracy.
• Draft the EIAMD BO Annual Report and coordinate reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
