Job summary

LGC Biosearch Technologies is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Operations to lead production and QC activities at our site. You will oversee teams, prioritize resources, and ensure compliant, efficient operations and testing with strong cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, with emphasis on QA, CAPA, change control, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, engineering, operations, or related field—or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead production and QC to ensure safe, compliant manufacturing and testing
• Develop and manage personnel, set priorities, allocate resources, monitor performance
• Plan production and QC to meet schedules, testing, release, capacity and commitments
• Ensure activities and records meet QMS, ISO, documentation, audit readiness
• Oversee QC testing and lab activities; ensure traceability and control of materials
• Lead investigations into deviations, CAPA, and process failures with QA
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, yield, delivery and productivity
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support transfers, validation, change control and audits
• Promote site culture, employee engagement and adherence to values
• Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives
