Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking an Associate Scientist for 100% onsite work in Irvine, CA to support early-stage biologics drug product formulation and process development.

The role emphasizes hands-on experimentation, independent design and execution of studies, troubleshooting, and applying scientific judgment to advance biologics programs. Strong analytical development experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience required.
• B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline with ~5 years relevant experience, OR M.S. with ~1–3 years.
• Hands-on lab experience supporting biologics/protein drug development.
• Experience in drug product formulation and/or process development or analytical development/testing of biologics or protein therapeutics.
• Ability to independently design, execute, and interpret laboratory studies.
• Strong scientific troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support early-stage biologics drug product formulation and process development in Irvine, CA.
• Independently design and execute experiments, troubleshoot challenges, interpret results, and drive studies forward.
• Apply scientific judgment to advance studies and communicate findings.
