Job summary

Regeneron, located in Rensselaer, NY, seeks an Automation Technician to join our Industrial Operations and Product Supply team. You will help ensure reliable operation of automated manufacturing systems supporting biologics production and fill/finish operations.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and computerized control systems, coordinate response activities, and partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement and compliance on a 3rd shift

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field with 3+ years in process control/data acquisition.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems in a cGMP/industrial setting.
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens control systems; ladder logic familiarity.
Experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot automation, process control, and monitoring systems in GMP manufacturing.
Coordinate automation response to resolve issues with minimal disruption.
Partner with teams during equipment setup, changeovers, and maintenance.
Implement automation testing and verification to ensure proper operation.
Support deviation investigations and system improvements for reliability and compliance.
Interpret documentation and communicate findings to multi-functional partners.
Maintain overnight operations on a third-shift schedule.
