Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake and prioritization of Structural Biology Core (SBC) requests from VRC cores and sections for structural characterization of viral proteins, immunogens, or vaccine-elicited antibodies, triaging targets based on program timelines.
• Coordinate handoffs across the SBC structural biology pipeline and track timelines at each stage.
• Serve as point of contact between the Structural Biology Core and other VRC cores and sections to relay structural findings.
• Maintain records of solved structures and deposition status (e.g., PDB submissions) and track reagent sharing.
• Prepare structural biology progress updates for SBC joint meetings and regulatory summaries.
• Collaborate with regulatory and clinical teams for preparation of regulatory documents and protocol development.
