Job summary

Trinity Washington University seeks an Advanced Technical Center Biological Science Instructional Specialist for Ward 8 to deliver foundational coursework in biology and health sciences within the ATC program. The role includes three courses per semester, ongoing student support, and collaboration with ATC and CAS leadership.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in biology/health sciences or education, with strong teaching credentials and experience in dual enrollment settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Biological Sciences, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Sciences, or a closely related field, or in Education with a strong biological science focus.
• Previous undergraduate or high school teaching experience required.
• Preference for candidates with dual enrollment teaching experience and proven engaged learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Teach three courses per semester in Trinity’s ATC Dual Enrollment Program.
• Maintain regular office hours and provide supplemental instruction and tutoring.
• Analyze course assessment data to inform instructional interventions and collaborate with ATC and CAS teams.
