Base pay range

$40,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr

• Assist in the preparation and setup of laboratory experiments and tests.
• Perform routine laboratory procedures, including sample collection, measurement, and analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Document and record experimental data accurately and promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Dispose of chemical and biological waste in accordance with safety regulations.
• Support senior technicians and scientists in various research projects and tasks.
• Review and verify results, and report any anomalies or issues to the supervisor.
• Keep inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment, and assist in ordering replacements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, PCR, spectrophotometers).
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with data entry and basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
