Job summary

You will prepare microelectrode arrays, support neuronal culture, maintain records, and troubleshoot issues affecting culture health and data quality. You will collaborate with biology and engineering teams to build scalable laboratory systems for neurally-optimized software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in biology or related field.
• Hands-on experience in a biological or biomedical lab.
• Familiarity with mammalian cell culture and neural tissue preparation.
• Experience handling small lab rodents and collecting tissue.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain microelectrode arrays (MEA) per protocols.
• Perform MEA quality-control checks for impedance and readiness.
• Support neuronal culture and tissue preparation workflows.
• Assist electrophysiology experiments and data collection.
• Maintain lab inventory and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Support animal research under approved IACUC protocols.
