Job summary

Servier seeks a Scientist II, Data Science in Boston to lead NGS data analysis for Oncology programs. You will translate complex sequencing data into biological insights, influence study design, and work closely with program teams. Presence in the office is expected 2–3 days per week.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, publication of findings, and advancing translational goals within a fast-paced biopharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Biology, or Statistics with 5+ years in drug discovery.
• Publication track record translating bioinformatics analyses into biological insights.
• Experience processing and analyzing NGS data (RNA, DNA, DNA methylation).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and interpret genomic studies in Exploratory and Clinical Oncology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on target biology and drugging strategies.
• Analyze public and proprietary NGS data for targets and hypotheses.
• Develop workflows (WDL/CWL/Nextflow) and visualize data; deliver results.
