Our client, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the USA, is looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist - II (Associate) to work ONSITE at Cambridge, MA.

Job Title: Bioinformatics Scientist III

Duration: 23 Months

Location: Onsite role - Cambridge, MA 02141

Pay range: $70 - $77 per hr

IMPORTANT NOTES/MUST HAVES:

• At least five years of experience after PhD (less than 5 years, submit to this req)
• Multi-omics experience
• Bulk and single-cell transcriptomics experience
• Spatial transcriptomics experience (preferred)
• Olink, proteomics, and genotype data experience
• Experience working with external datasets
• Willing to relocate at own expense if nonlocal
• Include publications on the resume

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze external datasets, integrate and clean data
• Understand and interpret datasets
• Draw conclusions from data analyses
• Document work and methodologies

Key Skills:

• Expertise in multi-omics data analysis and integration (RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq)
• Transcriptomics analysis
• Proficiency in R and Bash

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology or related field
• Over 5 years of experience in multi-omics analysis
• Understanding of statistical methods and data integration

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real-world data processing
• Familiarity with spatial transcriptomics
• Knowledge of population genetics principles
