The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applications for a position spanning extramural/administrative functions, education, and collaborative research with the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The role includes editing/reviewing grants and manuscripts, lecturing external courses, developing budgets, mentoring staff, and conducting genomic/proteomic studies with Prof.

Han Liang and colleagues, in collaboration with other researchers and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Consulting for outside organizations and institutions.
• Editing reviewer and grant/manuscript reviewer activities.
• Lecturing and presenting in external courses and conferences.
• Supervising non-research staff such as analysts, programmers and administrative staff.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research in experimental protocol development/optimization and data interpretation for genomic, proteomic, pharmacological, and animal studies.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, clinicians, researchers and data management staff on methodological research.
• Develop and refine experimental protocols and cell line/animal models for drug discovery and biomarker validation.
