Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with genomics and bioinformatics in a clinical laboratory including setting up, testing and maintaining bioinformatics workflows required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to computational analysis of data from multiple research projects in the Sun lab, focusing on cancer evolution, tumor immunology, and multi-omics data integration.
• Develops, maintains, and applies bioinformatic pipelines for bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, and proteomics.
• Collaborates with experimental researchers to design studies, interpret results, and support manuscript and grant preparation.
• Contributes to reproducible computational workflows and data-management infrastructure in the lab.
