The Fountain Groupis currentlyseeking aBioinformatics Analyst for a prominent clientofours.This position is100% REMOTE.Details for the positionare as follows:

Job Description:

**100% REMOTE (EST/CST time zone)**

• Bioinformatics scientist for development of OMICS data analysis pipeline and tool development.
• Design, build, document, and maintain custom state of the art RNAseq and other OMICs data-analysis pipelines and front-end tools for a large user base.
• Detect and resolve software bugs and performance issues. Provide on-demand technical support for applications.
• Educate and train colleagues in usage of these tools.
• Containerize on-premises and cloud systems, execute extensive test strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure software quality.

Qualifications:

• **MUST BE IN EST OR CST TIME ZONE**
• BS or MS in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology / Computational Science / Biophysics / Biotechnology
• Strong Background in OMICS Data Analysis (RNAseq data required)
• Programming Languages (R / Python)
• Front End Development Tools (R-shiny / react like frameworks)
• Pharma Industry HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Additional Relevant Skills: AWS, Git, UNIX, Linear Regression, Multivariate Analysis, etc.

Compensation: $30-48 per hour depending on experience
