The Bioinformatics Analyst plays an important role in supporting the Center for Generative Immunotherapy's (CGI) efforts to accelerate the development and clinical testing of AI-designed cancer therapies. This position helps researchers collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of clinical and biological data that are used to evaluate new treatments, improve personalized cancer vaccines, and advance RNA-based therapeutics. The position analyzes data generated from clinical trials and research studies, including genomic, sequencing, immune profiling, and other molecular datasets. The work performed helps researchers better understand how patients respond to treatment, identify potential biomarkers, evaluate therapeutic effectiveness, and guide future research and clinical development efforts.
The Bioinformatics Analyst develops and maintains data analysis workflows and bioinformatics pipelines that support the processing and analysis of large research datasets. These tools help ensure that data are analyzed consistently, accurately, and efficiently, allowing researchers to generate meaningful results and make informed decisions more quickly. This role provides opportunities to work with advanced sequencing technologies, large-scale genomic datasets, and modern computational tools used in cancer research and precision medicine. The analyst performs customized analyses, creates data visualizations, prepares reports, and communicates findings to researchers and clinical teams.
The position collaborates with investigators in planning research studies and developing data analysis strategies. Master's or Bachelor's and 0-2 years' experience; or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution.
Demonstrated experience in managing priorities and detail oriented.
Relevant genetics, genomics, computational immunology, systems biology and/or biological experience.
