Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Bioindustrial Base Sr Analyst to support DoW assessments and investments in biotechnology, protecting IP and reducing risk through strategic analysis and program integration.

The role interfaces with the Biomanufacturing CTA, BMO, and GPM, informing leadership across DoW offices and OSC. Required advanced degree and TS/SCI clearance; experience in biotech R&D, manufacturing, and program management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biology/biotech-related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to comply with government policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent bioindustrial base analysis and recommendations to DoW leadership.
• Assist in identifying technology areas of interest and data gaps.
• Engage with industry to assess trends, opportunities and risks.
• Write and present reports and briefings for senior DoW stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for commercial transition and high-value initiatives.
