Job summary

Steri-Clean Sacramento, CA is hiring a Biohazard Technician I to respond to biohazard, trauma, hoarding, and extreme cleaning scenes. You will safely clean, remediate, and restore properties with strict safety protocols from start to finish.

No prior industry experience is required — full training is provided. Construction/restoration experience is a plus; must lift 50 lbs and work in full PPE for long periods. On-site position in North Highlands, CA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the North Highlands office.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid CA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to biohazard, trauma, hoarding remediation calls, including after-hours and on-call situations.
• Work independently on assigned jobs when directed.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients in sensitive situations.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and restoration per company protocols and industry standards.
• Follow safety policies, exposure control plans, and safe handling of materials.
