Job summary

Hyp-tro Building Services, LLC is seeking a dependable Crime Scene / Clean up Technician to perform biohazard remediation, trauma cleanup, and odor removal at residential, commercial, and government sites. You will follow safety procedures, use PPE, document work, and respond to after-hours calls.

This role demands discretion, emotional maturity, and the ability to work in sensitive environments. Training may be provided; prior janitorial or restoration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Prior experience in janitorial, restoration, biohazard cleanup, crime scene cleanup, or environmental services preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in emotionally sensitive environments.
• Must pass a background check if required by contract or client.
• Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends, or emergency shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform biohazard, trauma, and crime scene cleanup services per safety standards.
• Disinfect, deodorize, and restore areas after incidents involving bodily fluids or contamination.
• Use PPE properly and follow OSHA and hazardous material guidelines.
• Package and dispose of contaminated materials safely.
• Document work performed and take before/after photos when required.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies in organized condition.
• Respond to emergency calls, including evenings and weekends.
• Follow supervisor instructions and company safety procedures.
