Job summary

Trauma Services is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as biohazard remediation technicians in Savannah, GA. You will perform blood and bodily fluid cleanup, crime scene cleanup, and medical waste handling, with a focus on safety and discretion.

Ideal candidates are flexible for off-hours, on-call shifts, and overtime. Experience with demolition tools and PPE is preferred; DOT card is advantageous and reliable transportation is required.

Trauma Services is looking for highly motivated individuals who will join our team of biohazard remediation technicians. At Trauma Services, we provide families, businesses and homeowners with a remediation service that helps them put their property back together after a tragic incident.

Responsibilities

• Blood, death scene, and bodily fluid cleanup and removal
• Crime Scene cleanup
• Chemical substance/drug cleanup & removal
• Hoarding and squalor remediation
• Jail cell/cruiser cleanup
• Medical Waste/Needle pickup and disposal
• Body transport to ME office

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Honest, hardworking & trustworthy
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Good physical health, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and pass a breathing test
• Ability to lift 200 pounds with assistance
• Able to work off-hours, be on-call, overnight stays and expected to work overtime hours
• Versatile & handy, comfortable working with power tools
• Own a mobile phone
• Ability to obtain a DOT card
• Reliable transportation
• clean driving record, able to pass a Cori check
• GED / HS Diploma/ Industry Experience / Military
• Experience using demolition tools, personal protective equipment (PPE)
• - Experience in Restoration, Bio-Hazard Clean Up or Construction industries
• - Experience in funeral services or mortuary removal

Compensation

• Paid travel time and starting work rate at $27/Hour (Depending on experience & job type). SIGNIFICANT OVERTIME OPPORTUNIES AVAILABLE.
