Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in bioengineering or related field
• Experience in laboratory environments relevant to bioengineering, biology, chemistry, materials science, biomedical engineering, or related fields
• Familiarity with inventorying equipment, chemicals, and keeping equipment maintenance and inspection logs
• Proficiency with basic computer software such as Microsoft platforms and Excel
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt well to changes

Responsibilities

• The Bioengineering Instructional Lab Manager is a subject-matter expert responsible for the technical operation, safety, and instructional support of teaching laboratories.
• Supports instructional activities spanning biomaterials, tissue engineering, biomedical devices, biofabrication, advanced manufacturing, and related areas of bioengineering.
• Manages activities related to the physical preparation of all teaching laboratory courses and course-related projects offered by the department.
