Job summary

The Biodiversity Postdoctoral Fellowship program, hosted by the Museum of Comparative Zoology (MCZ) at Harvard University, supports postdoctoral researchers to pursue discovery and formal taxonomic description of Earth's animal species. Fellows work under MCZ faculty-curators with access to labs, office space, and research support, targeting broad taxonomic coverage.

Applicants with plant-animal interactions are welcome.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. (completed within the previous three years) with relevant research experience in taxonomy and/or systematics is required.
• Open to both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens.
• Applicants must identify at least one MCZ faculty-curator who will supervise the fellowship.
• All formal requirements for the doctoral degree must be completed before the start of the fellowship, though degree receipt may be forthcoming.
