Job summary

The University of Kansas Lawrence Campus is seeking a student hourly to support the biodiesel initiative. Responsibilities include assisting in production from used cooking oil and testing fuel properties according to established ASTM procedures.

You will work with the logistics manager to coordinate oil pickup and fuel delivery and engage in outreach with the University and the local community.

Qualifications

• Sophomore standing at KU.
• Good communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
• At least 2 years of MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production of biodiesel from used cooking oil.
• Test fuel properties according to ASTM procedures.
• Coordinate oil pickup and fuel delivery with the logistics manager.
• Engage with the University and community to support outreach.
