Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5-6 years relevant experience, or Master's degree + 3-4 years relevant experience in chemical/biochemical engineering or related field.
• Experience with antibodies in the bioconjugates space is highly preferable.
• Hands-on experience with bioconjugation processes (lysine-based, cysteine-based, site-specific) with purification techniques (chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, membranes) preferred.
• Experience with analytical tools such as electrophoresis, MS, HPLC and UV spectroscopy preferred.
• Strong initiative and ability to work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable GMP-ready bioconjugation and purification processes.
• Collaborate with analytical groups to establish characterization techniques.
• Discuss plans and data in cross-functional teams to drive developmental goals.
• Ensure lab and environmental safety compliance per Regeneron and regulatory bodies.
• Use DOE to optimize bioconjugation, purification, and analytics.
• Partner with External Manufacturing and CDMOs for tech transfer and GMP production.
• Research and develop new technologies to improve processes and create predictive models.
• Prepare transfer documentation and support onsite scale-up activities.
