Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Advanced ABD candidates from an accredited university may be considered with the expectation that the terminal degree will be earned by August 1, 2027.
• Commitment to student success and teaching at a residential liberal arts institution.
• Ability to establish an active undergraduate research program.
• Postdoctoral and/or teaching experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach five courses per academic year in a ACS-approved department.
• Deliver undergraduate upper-level biochemistry lectures and laboratories, general chemistry, and specialty courses.
• Maintain an active scholarly agenda and provide academic advising and service.
