Job summary

The position reports to the Department Chair in a dynamic, collaborative lab environment. Responsibilities include performing standard molecular biology techniques, data graphing, literature searches, and maintaining accurate lab notebooks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with 0–2 years of lab experience.
• Experience with western blot, PCR, and cell culture preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of statistics, imaging software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard cell and molecular biology procedures under PI supervision.
• Assists in training students and maintains accurate lab notebooks.
• Graphs and analyzes data; contributes to abstracts, posters and manuscripts.
• Maintains laboratory safety and orders lab supplies as needed.
