Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented Bioanalytical Chemist to support analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics in a laboratory setting. The position requires a B.S. in biochemistry/analytical chemistry and 2–6 years of experience with biological molecules, along with strong data handling and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in biochemistry, analytical chemistry or related field and 2–6 years of experience with bio-molecules.
• Knowledge of HPLC/UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, CE, peptide mapping for proteins/antibodies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a lab environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office; team player and self‑aware.

Responsibilities

• Perform HPLC/UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, CE and apply to biotherapeutics across development stages.
• Run UPLC/HPLC, iCE, CGE, pH and UV‑Vis analyses independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare samples, standards, and data for customers; maintain electronic notebooks/LIMS.
• Conduct monthly maintenance of lab equipment and support activities.
• Collaborate with team and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bioanalytical Chemist to support the analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics in a laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on analytical experience who are comfortable working independently while maintaining high‑quality laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing HPLC/ UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, and CE and applying these methods to a broad range of biotherapeutics for early and late‑stage products.
• Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to UPLC/HPLC, iCE, CGE, pH, and UV‑vis spectroscopy
• Preparing samples and standards for analysis and running instrumentation with minimal supervision
• The candidate is expected to tabulate and provide data to their customers
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities
• Knowledge of electronic notebooks and LIMS

Qualifications

Required

• The candidate should have a minimum of a B.S degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemistry, or related discipline, and 2-6 years of experience working with biological molecules using an array of analytical methodologies.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge in protein biochemistry and analytical chemistry, and experience using some or all of the following techniques:HPLC/ UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, CE, and/or peptide mapping for analysis of biologicals including proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment
• Non‑technical attributes required include verbal and written communication skills, cooperation and teamwork skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel, and self‑awareness.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Preferred

• Experience with iCE (imaged capillary electrophoresis)
• Strong HPLC or UHPLC skills
• Knowledge of compendial assays (USP/EP methods)

Positions are full-time, workingMonday-Friday 8am-5pm,overtime as needed. Candidates currentlyliving within commutable distance to Andover, MAare encouraged to apply.
