Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a detail‑oriented Bioanalytical Chemist to support analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics in a laboratory setting. The role suits candidates with hands‑on analytical experience who can work independently while maintaining high‑quality lab practices.

Responsibilities include running HPLC/UPLC, SDS‑PAGE, iCE, CE, and related techniques, preparing samples, and delivering data to clients. Andover, MA based with full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 2–6 years of relevant lab experience.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC, SDS‑PAGE, iCE, CE, or peptide mapping for biologicals including proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, cooperation and teamwork, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Run instrumentation independently including UPLC/HPLC, iCE, CGE, pH, and UV‑vis spectroscopy.
• Prepare samples and standards for analysis and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
• Tabulate and provide data to customers.
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other lab support activities.
• Knowledge of electronic notebooks and LIMS.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bioanalytical Chemist to support the analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics in a laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on analytical experience who are comfortable working independently while maintaining high‑quality laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing HPLC/ UPLC, SDS‑PAGE, iCE, and CE and applying these methods to a broad range of biotherapeutics for early and late‑stage products.
• Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to UPLC/HPLC, iCE, CGE, pH, and UV‑vis spectroscopy
• Preparing samples and standards for analysis and running instrumentation with minimal supervision
• The candidate is expected to tabulate and provide data to their customers
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities
• Knowledge of electronic notebooks and LIMS

Qualifications

Required

• The candidate should have a minimum of a B.S degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemistry, or related discipline, and 2-6 years of experience working with biological molecules using an array of analytical methodologies.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge in protein biochemistry and analytical chemistry, and experience using some or all of the following techniques:HPLC/ UPLC, SDS‑PAGE, iCE, CE, and/or peptide mapping for analysis of biologicals including proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment
• Non-technical attributes required include verbal and written communication skills, cooperation and teamwork skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel, and self‑awareness.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Preferred

• Experience with iCE (imaged capillary electrophoresis)
• Strong HPLC or UHPLC skills
• Knowledge of compendial assays (USP/EP methods)

Additional Information

Positions are full‑time, workingMonday-Friday 8am‑5pm,overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Andover, MA.
