Job summary

Biotage is seeking an Applications Scientist to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid position (3-4 days onsite) involves supporting sales and marketing activities with a strong emphasis on scientific content generation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in bioanalytical chemistry, 4+ years of biological analysis experience, and hands-on LC/MS/MS knowledge. Exceptional communication and training skills are essential, alongside innovative thinking to simplify and accelerate scientific discovery.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in bioanalytical chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
• 4+ years analyzing biological fluids, including 2+ years with large molecules by LC/MS/MS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with sample preparation for biofluids.

Responsibilities

• Lead bioanalytical method development within labs.
• Collaborate with R&D for new product development.
• Deliver training and workshops at scientific meetings.
