Job summary

Merck & Co. in Ridgefield, CT seeks a Scientist to join the Bioanalysis-Drug Metabolism/Pharmacokinetics (BA-DMPK) group. You will support management and characterization of reagents for bioanalytical assays used in non-clinical and clinical studies.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, solid experience with aSEC or LC-MS, and strong organizational and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in a related science with 0–3 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

aSEC and LC-MS analytical experience.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results and follow through on commitments.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn ELN/LIMS or lab software tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams within BA-DMPK to support reagents used in bioanalytical assays.
Execute routine procedures for reagents, matrices, and reference standards, including inventory management and storage.
Characterize reagents by concentration, aSEC, and LC-MS as needed.
Perform laboratory safety tasks and maintain required records per SOPs and policies.
Archive data and present results clearly in reports and meetings.
