Job summary

Avante Engineering in Juncos, PR is seeking an experienced Project Manager for coordinating and executing Bio/Pharmaceutical projects with subcontracted partners. You will drive construction plans, scheduling, and scope generation while ensuring EHS compliance and safe on-site activities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, extensive project management experience in bio/pharma facilities, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Proven project management experience in Bio/Pharmaceutical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of EHS requirements and implementation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating construction activities.
• Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects following engineering design and specifications.
• Develop the Construction Plan for effective project implementation.
• Support planning and scheduling for seamless execution.
• Generate Scope of Works to solicit proposals from contractors and vendors.
• Incorporate EHS mitigations into project construction plans.
• Ensure contractor safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate installation logistics of new equipment.
• Lead construction, equipment removal, and installation activities.
• Manage projects for facilities and utilities; oversee subcontractors.
• Monitor validation documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and generate status reports.
