Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital (NMH) is the center of a comprehensive system of medical and health care services. The Bio-Medical Technician will install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment for NMH and related facilities located in Hi-Line communities of Montana.

The role requires a two-year Associate degree in Electronics/Bio-Medical or related field and prior practical experience as an Electronics Equipment

• Two-year Associate degree in Electronics/Bio-Medical or related field.
• Previous practical experience as an Electronics Equipment Technician.
• Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment for all Hospital and related facilities.
• Modify biomedical equipment as needed to support hospital operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

About the role

The purpose of the Bio-Medical Technician position is to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, and perform modifications on diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment for all Hospital and related facilities.
