Our client, a full-service IP boutique law firm, is looking for an experienced Biology and Chemical Patent Attorney.

Schedule - Fully remote or hybrid in office (Minneaplis and Silicon Valley/San Jose)

Billable hours - 1700

Bio Patent Attorney Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in cell biology, genetics, etc
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 10-15 years of experience in patent production with a focus on biology
• Must be in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar
• Admitted to practice before the USPTO
• Strongly prefer seasoned attorney preferably with some book, with firm experience (prep and pros)
• Ability to train younger attorneys, supervise clients, breadth and depth of experience beyond mere prep and pros

Chem Patent Attorney Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in organic chemistry
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 6-12 years of experience in patent production with a focus on organic chemistry
• Must be in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar
• Admitted to practice before the USPTO
• Strongly prefer seasoned attorney preferably with some book, with firm experience (prep and pros)
• Someone who could keep themselves 50% busy with a book they might bring with them.
• Personality and attitude that, even in the absence of a portable book, could lead to the generation of a book within a five-year period.
