Job summary

Baesman Group is seeking a Bindery Operator to set up and run finishing equipment for high-quality printed materials. The role includes following job tickets, maintaining safety and quality, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines. On-the-job training is provided for those with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.

The position offers hands-on learning in a modern print production environment with opportunities to grow within a fourth-generation family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written instructions and measurements.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and standard/metric measurements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Previous bindery or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery and finishing equipment.
• Follow job tickets and production specifications to complete each project accurately.
• Inspect products throughout the process to ensure quality.
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic production issues.
• Work toward established safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Partner with team members to keep jobs moving and meet client deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
