Job summary

Data-Mail, Inc. is hiring a Machine Set-Up Operator in Windsor, CT to manage setup, operation and troubleshooting of bindery and inserting equipment across two facilities. The role supports a team-oriented environment with two daily 12-hour shifts.

The successful candidate will perform precise machine setups, monitor quality, and maintain production records while obeying safety guidelines and confidentiality requirements. Training to become a mechanic is available.

Qualifications

• Bindery equipment setup, parts replacement and preventive checks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and adjust tolerances to maintain quality.
• Follow written and illustrated setup instructions for machines.
• Demonstrate reliability through attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup on own machine and document production/QC records.
• Operate and troubleshoot own machine to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Set up Bindery operations (folder, cutters, printers) and complete various work types.
• Set up Inserting operations (feeders, inserters, envelopes).
• Keep the work area neat and safe; assist nearby operators as needed.
