Job summary

EP Graphics, Inc. in Berne, IN is seeking an entry level Bindery Operator to join our climate-controlled shop and help meet deadlines in a fast-paced printing environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience or knowledge of offset printing procedures, read job specifications, set precise controls, and perform routine maintenance. You may need to work overtime and Saturdays as required, with weekly pay and a strong team culture.

Entry Level BINDERY OPERATOR

Offset printing is customer driven, so you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure. EP Graphics is climate-controlled with a positive work culture.

Pay rate is up to $17/hr based on experience and qualifications.

Work week runs Monday - Friday.

Must be willing to work Saturdays as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have a minimum two years' experience as an operator at a heat set web printing company or will have knowledge of offset printing procedures
• Be able to read and understand job specifications
• Have the skill to make a variety of precise settings of controls
• Have ability to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment
• Have forklift experience (not required, but definitely a plus!)
• Be dependable and hardworking
• Be accurate with attention to detail
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to train and supervise a small crew
• Be willing to work overtime and various shifts on an as-needed basis

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
