Staffmark Group is hiring a Bindery Machine Operator in Lynchburg, VA. The role is direct hire with pay between $25.00 and $28.00 per hour. Shifts include 2nd (3 PM–11 PM) and 3rd (11 PM–7 AM), Monday–Friday, with a focus on setup, operation, quality checks, and safe material handling.

Experience in bindery or related manufacturing is preferred; forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus. Benefits are client-specific and may include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read tickets, schedules, and quality docs.
• Basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain bindery machinery.
• Load materials, perform make-ready, and adjust settings.
• Conduct quality inspections and document results.
• Package, label, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Train assistants and coordinate workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow policies.
