Job description

Direct hire opportunity for a Bindery Operator.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various bookbinding machinery to produce high quality finished products. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookbinding, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for craftsmanship. Hours: 3PM - 11PM Mon-Fri (occasional Saturday as needed). Pay rate is $23/hour!

Key Machinery (if applicable):
• Pallet jack
• Horizon BQ-500 4-Pocket Binder (PUR)
• Horizon iCE StitchLiner Mark IV Saddle-stitcher
• Challenge CMT-330 3-knife trimmer
• Other various binding equipment

Responsibilities:
• Operate binding machines for book production (gluing, stitching, drilling, and/or cutting).
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of each project.
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
