Job summary

Ironmark Midwest is seeking a Bindery Folder Operator in New Albany, IN. The role requires independent setup, operation, adjustment and troubleshooting of folding equipment while upholding production, quality and safety standards.

The candidate should have at least three years of commercial bindery experience and familiarity with the listed machines. First shift, occasional overtime, and weekend work may be required.

Bindery Folder Operator

We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator with at least three years of commercial bindery experience. This position is responsible for independently setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting folding equipment while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.

Preferred equipment experience includes the MBO B-30 with 8-page and 16-page units and hot-glue applicator, Horizon AFC-566FKT with knife-fold unit, Baum 714, and Martin Yale 2051.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to work from a standing position and bend/lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production requirements
• Good communication skills and excellent attendance
• Willingness to learn all aspects of job and cross-train as needed

Work Schedule:

• First Shift - Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Occasional overtime and weekend work
