Job summary

Ironmark Midwest in New Albany, IN is seeking a Bindery Folder Operator for the first shift. You will set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot folding equipment while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of commercial bindery experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent attention to detail. You must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment. First shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• At least three years of commercial bindery experience.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate folding equipment safely.
• Willingness to overtime or adjusted schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and good attendance.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of job and cross-train as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot folding equipment while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.
• Independently manage folding operations to meet production targets.
• Monitor quality and safety and address issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Bindery Folder Operator

First Shift

We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator with at least three years of commercial bindery experience. This position is responsible for independently setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting folding equipment while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.

Preferred equipment experience includes the MBO B-30 with 8-page and 16-page units and hot-glue applicator, Horizon AFC-566FKT with knife-fold unit, Baum 714, and Martin Yale 2051.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to work from a standing position and bend/lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production requirements
• Good communication skills and excellent attendance
• Willingness to learn all aspects of job and cross-train as needed

Work Schedule:

• First Shift - Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Occasional overtime and weekend work
