Job summary

The Sheridan Group is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate on our 2nd shift (2:30PM - 11PM). No prior bindery experience required—we will train you to operate high-speed finishing/bindery equipment and contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
