Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator to set up, adjust and operate a single piece of machinery at the North Plant. This role starts on the night shift with opportunities to advance after training.

You will train to promote into a Lead operator, learn preventative maintenance, monitor quality and productivity, and work with a team to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge.

• Inspect equipment for safety issues.

• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others.

Bindery Operator 1

Starting Rate:

$22.00 - $27.40 with a 7% increase for second and third shift.

Additional Incentives:

Work Hours: 6pm-6am (after training on day shift)

Location:

We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This job is for the

North Plant.

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
