Job summary

Walsworth in Ripon, Wisconsin, seeks a Bindery - Assistant to support day-to-day operations across Bindery equipment, perform manual tasks, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

You will assist machine operators, handle materials, prepare workstations, and ensure safety and productivity. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to learn new computer applications as needed. Schedule: four days per week, 3pm–1am, with Friday shifts 1pm–9pm if required.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

As a Bindery - Assistant you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations across various Bindery equipment by performing a variety of manual tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This position plays a vital role in assisting skilled workers, handling materials, preparing workstations, and maintaining workplace safety and productivity. This position works 4 days a week 3pm to 1am and on Fridays if needed 1pm to 9pm.

Essential Functions:

• Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, staging and loading products.
• Assist machine operators with job set-up and basic tasks as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas by sweeping disposing of waste and maintaining supply levels.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by Walsworth
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and as directed.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• All other duties as assigned.
